1) Made strawberry & blueberry pancakes with whipped cream in honor of the inauguration (red, white & blue). And sang the Pokemon theme song with my roommate.
Yesterday I:
Went to a MLK celebration dinner at a community center. Watched a middle school choir warble "Imagine" and witnessed an interpretive dance about MLK. Also saw speakers talk about segregation they personally went through, which was actually moving. Also--got a 115 in bowling, personal best!
This weekend I:
Went through a house that was a 19th century bordello, complete with indoor drawbridges and secret passageways. Went hiking, went to a metal show, and lay in a sensory deprovation tank.

What I Ate Today
Breakfast: Bacon Mashed Potatoes.
Lunch: Hospital Thanksgiving Dinner
Dinner:
Bacon spring rolls
Bacon mashed potatoes
Bacon stuffing
Bacon lentil soup
Bacon pork chops
Bacon wrapped mini hotdogs soaked in maple syrup, mustard, and brown sugar
Bacon wrapped asparagus
Bacon macaroni and cheese
Bacon gorditas
Bacon brownies
Bacon wrapped shrimp
Bacon brownies
And with my buddy Nathan, I snorted a line of crushed bacon.
And with my friend RanJan I did a shot of the greasy sauce the bacon wrapped hot dogs was soaking in.
This was one of the most disgusting/wonderful Thanksgivings I've ever had. I'll share more later.

I'm filling out the application for the Arcata, California hospital. Everything's going fine until I come up with this section:
"Please list 4 references who are not former employers or relatives."
What do you guys usually put down?
After asking their permission, I was just gonna list Graham, Ria, Theora (my buddy I'm moving in with), and my friend Cedar. But should I list more "official" people? I bet this place doesn't give a rat's ass about my friends. Do they want coworkers or what on that part?

Yessssssssssss
We're (Kristen, Graham and I) going to MONTREAL this weekend!! I booked a hotel room on travelocity for 88 American dollars.
Since I don't have a car, I haven't left downtown Burlington in a looong ass time. I also haven't been to Montreal since I turned 21. Any suggestions as to what we should do? I want to go to the Botanical Gardens. Kristen's from New Orleans so she's never been, but I think we can spare her Peel Pub and Le Club Super Sexe.
I'm so excited to get out of town. I have to work 7 days in a row at work to get this weekend off, but I'll be worth it.

Goodbye # 12!
I went to the dentist today. The last time I went I was a senior in high school, and got a big lecture about my lackluster oral hygeine. After that, I vowed never to go, which was an easy decision considering I didn't have dental insurance until January. On Sunday I woke up with a throbbing pain in my upper jaw, near my left canine tooth. All I wanted to do was press on my face to make it go away.
So I sucked it up and went. The good news? The oral hygenist was impressed with the my "Obvisouly dilligent brushing routine." Ha ha fooled ya dentist lady! But not really. I have 5 cavities, and something called an occulusion in my teeth. So they're gonna try to fill in the cavities, but in one tooth, the one behind my left canine, is wicked bad. They're gonna try to fill it ($50), but if they can't then it's a root canal ($900). Then if they can't fill it, they're gonna have to TAKE IT OUT. Dang.
